As we grow old our body reduces the production of nitric oxide in the blood.  Nitric acid helps wash toxins of blood vessels to clean the blockage.  It also tells us how healthy is our heart.

Nitric oxide is a very important molecule for our body, especially for arteries.

Endothelium or blood vessel lining makes nitric oxide within our body.

When we do physical activity or we have low cholesterol, the endothelium senses the healthy condition of our heart and releases more of the Nitric Oxide in our blood vessels.  This expands the blood vessels, increases blood flow and decreasing blood clotting and plaque growth.

Latest studies have revealed that beetroot has certain enzymes which help in increasing the blood flow, lower blood pressure.  Further, the studies reveal that within 45 minutes of 100ml  beat root juice activates nitric oxide in the blood.
